The New Space Economy program funded Finnish startup companies that reformed the sector, growth-seeking manufacturing companies, and businesses focused on data utilization.
The program also funded Finnish space research.
The objective of the New Space Economy program was to achieve measurable results in economic growth and employment through networks and new business models. The program renewed and accelerated Finnish space sector to be a significant global player in the New Space Economy.
The objective was supported by the establishment of the European Space Agency (ESA) business incubation centre Finland, offering a good platform for 50 growth-seeking companies for a liftoff to the international markets in the coming years.
