Welcome to pitch your solution to Polish buyers in the chemical industry, that are looking for ways to decarbonize their companies! The goal of the event is to create good business collaboration opportunities for the Finnish companies and direct contacts in the Polish market.
The solutions needed include renewable energy sources & waste heat utilization, alternative methods of production to reduce energy consumption in processes, process optimization, and advanced control, waste management and circular solutions and in longer perspective CO2 capture and utilization.
Who should attend?
Finnish companies, that have commercial decarbonizing solutions for chemistry and process industry wanting to enter the Polish market, or that are already operating in the Polish market and wanting to expand their operations.
Why Poland?
Need for decarbonization of industries and lowering emissions, circularity and better use of resources have gained importance and received more push because of regulation and value chains, including international customers especially in the EU. The current energy prices and energy availability are creating higher demand for energy efficient solutions.
Sector of chemical manufacturing is well diversified in Poland and includes fertilizers, industrial chemicals, soda, adhesives, household chemicals, and some other categories. There are about 200 medium size companies and 70 large ones.
In large companies, decarbonization and energy efficiency are taken into account also on a strategic level: getting rid of fossil dependence & utilization of low emission energy sources, circularity and increased energy efficiency are the commonly discussed topics.
Investment Funds for industrial energy efficiency and circularity of materials are provided in Poland from various sources, including RRF and upcoming new allocation of funding from structural funds. Other instruments applicable specifically for decarbonization are Innovation Fund for various scale projects, Just Transition Fund – almost 1 bn EUR (selected regions), and Modernization Fund - 9 bn EUR earmarked for energy transition.

One-to-one meetings
30 minutes one-to-one discussions with Polish buyers are organized via Teams on 23rd November. Please note that there is a limited number of slots to this event, and the meetings will be allocated on first come first served basis.
After registering for the event, we will ask you to fill in your company’s offering to a one-pager template that our Polish consultant partner will utilize in contacting suitable Polish companies and creating the business matches. The registered companies will get a detailed schedule of their meetings. Please book the whole day on 23rd November for the meetings. Please note, that we cannot guarantee one-to-one meetings to every participant.
