Business Finland has opened a new competition for leading and challenger companies (veturi, haastajaluokan veturi) on May 15th, 2023.
The challenge competition is intended for leading companies able to make significant increases to their RDI-investments in Finland. The maximum funding for a Leading company is 20 million euro plus 50 million euro for its ecosystem.
There is also a competition category for so called challenger companies. Challenger companies aim to grow into a global player or are solving a smaller or more focused challenge or are developing new businesses or strengthen the role of an international business group in Finland. The funding for a challenger company can be up to 10 million euro and up to 20 million euro for the challenger company's ecosystem.
