Come learn more about the digital health market in Japan! Business Finland is organising a physical event in Ruoholahti for Finnish healthtech companies interested in the Japanese healthcare market.

Digitalization of medical service and equipment is urgently needed in the super aging society of Japan. This trend is accelerated by COVID-19 pandemic.

Before the pandemic hit only a few countries had real-time data on:

  • Clinical cases on national level
  • Foreign travelers' information linked to patient data in national level
  • National level diagnostic testing

Now 83 percent of OECD countries have noted that COVID-19 has led to more timely data collection.

It is estimated that the digital health market will exceed 10 trillion JPY by 2025 (approx. EUR71.4 billion), which offers many opportunities for Finnish healthcare industry and its business activities.

In the preventive medical service, there are many demands for new prediction technologies of illness, which also connects to AI diagnosis and BioBank service opportunity. Wellness business is in strong demand in Japan and digital wellness solutions have many opportunities.

Who should attend?

Finnish digital health companies active in one of the following fields:

  • Diagnostics
  • Prevention Health
