Team Finland organises a healthcare networking event with a focus on RRF healthcare investment projects.

Following Business Finland's healthcare RRF-related activities in previous years, it is now time for a networking event to strengthen cooperation on planned developments in the healthcare sector. This activity aims to create good business collaboration for Finnish companies and get direct contacts with Lithuanian healthcare providers and potential partners.

Lithuania's key healthcare RRF priorities are focused on outpatient services, adapting the infrastructure of healthcare institutions to emergencies and efficiency through digitalisation. The main planned investments are to the establishment of long-term daycare centres until 2025 with specialized quality and capacity for the infrastructure and equipment for newly built facilities and mobile teams.

The selected hospitals will receive €87 mil of RRF healthcare funding allocated to Lithuania mainly for construction work and equipment for an infectious disease cluster centre of excellence, construction work and equipment for reception, emergency departments, a centre of advanced therapy and RITS. Additionally, investment in new genome research equipment is planned.

Who should attend?

The visit is aimed at Finnish companies that have export solutions for hospitals and want to pursue Lithuania as a strategic market or partner.

The participating companies should have products/solutions/services for:

  • Infrastructure for newly built daycare centres and improvement of existing premises (energy efficiency and the optimization of energy use)
  • Equipment for long-term day centres and mobile teams (e.g., computer equipment, furniture, medical beds, rehabilitation, nursing and medical equipment, mobile teams' equipment: electrocardiographs, half-oximeters analysers, etc)

Kindly notice that participation is limited to maximum 10 companies and maximum 2 persons per company. The attendance will be decided on first come, first served basis.

Companies will pay for their flights and accommodation. If necessary, the embassy can give recommendations on accommodations.

Eligibility check will be performed.
