As a continuation of the trade mission to Madrid organized earlier this year, Business Finland’s Low carbon built environment program is organizing a hybrid trade mission targeted to Barcelona and Catalonia Region. The purpose of this hybrid trade mission is to identify business collaboration opportunities for Finnish companies and get direct contacts in the Spanish market.
Business Finland will organize tailored B2B meetings and the participating companies can choose freely whether to take part in the physical meetings in Catalonia region or participate to the online meetings via MS Teams.
The building sector in Spain experienced a noteworthy investment of more than 3,600 million euros in the first quarter of 2022, marking a 50% annual growth and surpassing the five-year average by 28%. Initial analysis suggests that the annual investment in 2022 reached more than 12,500 million euros, comparable to the previous year, which was considered the most prosperous in the past decade.
The Spanish demand for real estate remains remarkably strong despite the international turbulences, particularly in the housing segment, with record-breaking sales figures, which surpassed those of 2019 already in the second quarter of 2022.
