On the eve of Wind Finland seminar Business Finland invites you to a networking reception on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
Wind power is developing rapidly in Finland. In 2022 Finland was the second largest developer of onshore wind power in Europe. Finland is committed to previously defined climate targets while it also outlines that operating conditions for wind power will be ensured. In addition, there is aspiration to build wind power across the country, and to significant extent, also offshore wind. The competitive position of Finnish offshore wind power in relation to neighbouring markets will be strengthened.
There will be short presentations from Fingrid, Finnish Wind Power Association and Metsähallitus (offshore wind).
