Business Finland Canada has conducted a market study mapping out the hydrogen sector in Canada.
Canada is positioned as one of the top ten major hydrogen producers worldwide, producing 3 million tonnes of hydrogen primarily via steam methane reforming of natural gas, mainly for industrial use. Based on the net zero goal established for 2050 and the growing concern about developing cleaner ways of producing and utilizing energy, Canada is focusing on producing green and blue hydrogen, also known as low-carbon intensity hydrogen. Many economic sectors, such as the industrial sector, have begun to invest in reducing their GHG emissions by using alternative technologies and processes.
In this webinar, Solas Energy Consulting will present on the Canadian hydrogen market, including trends and business opportunities for Finnish Companies. Also the Finnish company Hycamite will share their experience of doing business in the Canadian hydrogen sector.
