Business Finland and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action through its Central Innovation Programme for SMEs (ZIM) will provide access to public funding for joint projects.
Germany and Finland will announce a new Call for Proposals for joint R&D projects in 2025, focusing on developing innovative products and applications in all technological and application areas but on the Finnish side with a priority on Health and Digitalization as well as Manufacturing industries.
NEW: The funding is 50 % Grant from the Finnish side and a grant according to the ZIM regulations on the German side.
Applicants are expected to develop products, technology-based services or methods which will in subsequent steps generate sustainable solutions with market potential. Business Finland and AiF Projekt GmbH will assist companies to find project partners by organizing different kind of networking events. The consortium must include at least two independent enterprises (SMEs), one from Finland and one from Germany, which contribute considerably to the project.
The first possibility to find a German partner is the EEN match making event at Medica. Please join us to partner and find possible co-operation partners for the joint project! This new cooperation model is coordinated at Business Finland side by Kirsi Armanto. She will be also present at Medica. Please let Kirsi know if you are planning to visit Medica or if you would like to hear more about the R&D funding.
