Business Finland, Finnish Battery Industries Association and Hungarian Battery Association in cooperation with the Embassy of Hungary in Helsinki are pleased to invite you to participate in the Hungarian-Finnish battery webinar focused on knowledge and experience sharing in the field of sustainable battery production.
Finland is the only country in the world that can manage the whole battery value chain from minerals to recycling and thus plays an important role in the global shift towards electrification. Finland has expertise from the mining industry and processing of raw materials to technologies related to the manufacture and use of batteries, as well as charging technologies and recycling. The battery industry is a rapidly growing field in Finland, and together with already functioning factories, there are several large investments taking place in the near future.
Hungary takes the lead in Central Eastern Europe to join the European battery industry’s goals to secure a successful green transition within the automotive and energy sector. Apart from cell and battery systems manufacturing, Hungary has a developing ecosystem of suppliers of, among others, copper and aluminum foils, connectors, separator foils and electrolytes. Hungary is now in the 4th place in the production of EV batteries, but will soon move up to 2nd place in the global ranking. Battery and e-mobility developments have a strategic importance to the Hungarian economy.
Finnish companies interested to learn about collaboration opportunities in Hungary are welcome to read more about this market opportunity.
Participation in the webinar will provide you with opportunities to make individual B2B connections after the event.
Potential collaboration areas between Finnish and Hungarian companies can be explored in the following aspects:
• finding suppliers
• finding clients
• investigating the growing European battery market by joint actions / cooperation.
