Get to know how French public hospital and nursing homes manage their procurement with Resah, a central purchasing organization.

France has a strong public healthcare sector with over 1 300 public hospitals and 3 000 public nursing homes. French public healthcare service providers are aiming at centralizing purchasing activities and today, they are growingly managing their procurement via central purchasing organizations.

Resah, French central purchasing organization specialized in both healthcare and medical-social sectors, is one of the key procurement players in the healthcare sector in France, but also in Europe. The procurement volume through Resah represents almost 3B€ annually. It offers more than 5 700 public contracts in all the procurement segments, covering all hospital needs: medical (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biomedical equipment, PPE...) and non-medical (ICT solutions, catering, energy...), from more than 1 000 suppliers, of which 40% of SMEs. Today Resah has more than 2 700 beneficiaries, including almost all French public and non-for-profit hospitals, nursing homes but also other public organization like public health national agency.
