Wood as a construction material is gaining attention in the German market. Business Finland’s Low Carbon Built Environment program is organizing a networking event in Munich, Germany on 17 October, 2024 to foster the opportunities this trend creates.
Germany is aiming to a climate-neutral building stock by 2050. Energy Management, sustainable building materials and BIM are already being implemented on a high scale in the short term due to drivers such as regulations and energy savings. Wood as building material is seen as an interesting, sustainable alternative to conventional building solutions. The aim is to utilize timber to replace some of the less sustainable materials such as steel and concrete.
The goal of this networking event is to get to know the key trends and stakeholders of German wood construction industry: Developers, constructors, architects, designers.
The program includes a seminar with a networking buffet. The networking event will give companies an opportunity to meet and discuss with potential customers, decision makers and business partners as well as to explore related business opportunities and gain valuable information to accelerate your market entry to Germany.
