Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Week (HNPW) is one of the largest and transformative humanitarian events of its kind. Co-chaired by the United Nations/OCHA and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), it gathers participants from the UN, NGOs, Member States, the private sector, the military, academia, and beyond to discuss and solve common challenges in humanitarian affairs annually in Geneva.
During the week, numerous networks and partnerships hold their annual meetings and consultations, share their expertise, and collaborate on best practices to address shared problems. For whom
The next HNPW will be held from 24-28 March in Geneva, Switzerland. As in previous years, the Finnish private sector is invited to attend the event collectively with key Finnish stakeholders in civil protection, rescue services, and humanitarian aid. The event features an exhibition area, and for several years, Finnish team has had its own stand there.
Why you should join?
Connecting with humanitarian agencies as a business representative can be challenging. HNPW offers a valuable opportunity for Finnish companies to understand humanitarian needs, present their ideas and solutions, and expand their network with the UN and other humanitarian organizations.
In collaboration with the Permanent Mission of Finland in Geneva and Business Finland, companies have the option to meet UN representatives. Throughout the week, participants can attend inspiring networking events, providing excellent occasions to connect with various stakeholders from the humanitarian field.
