Come join Business Finland's event to learn about the possibilities quantum computing and other quantum technologies offer to users, how end-user companies should approach them, and what assistance is available for the adoption of quantum technologies.

In December 2024, VTT published a guide as a result of a project funded by Business Finland. The guide provides insights into how end-user companies should approach quantum technologies.

Based on the guide, Business Finland's Quantum campaign is organizing an event that brings together VTT, university research groups that have received funding for their quantum computing projects, companies offering quantum technology applications, as well as consulting and training firms in the field. Business Finland will also provide information about relevant funding opportunities.

Background

Quantum computing is poised to dramatically revolutionize data processing across all industries in the future, and many of its potential applications are still not fully understood. The scalability and quality of quantum computing have rapidly improved in recent years, leading us to anticipate the initial practical applications of quantum computing during upcoming R&D projects. The application areas must be carefully chosen to be some of the first potentially demonstrating quantum benefits, as some potential applications may only materialize when the number and quality of qubits have significantly advanced from current levels and error correction becomes possible. In any case, the world of quantum computing is experiencing extremely interesting times over the next couple of years, which is why we invite you to come and network with industry players.
