Organized by the Michigan, Maine and Finland forestry bioeconomy collaboration, this webinar is intended to build connections across borders to enhance activities related to lignin valorization. The session will highlight recent research innovations and industrial applications and will seek to define the challenges and opportunities to increase lignin production and applications in the next 1-3 years.
This international collaboration was developed in 2020 to capitalize on collective forestry knowledge and commitment to smarter, sustainable use of natural resources to advance the bioeconomy and clean technologies. Industry, academia, government, and non-profit organizations in the US and Finland with an interest or role in the production of lignin, applications, and future opportunities are encouraged to attend the webinar.
