Following the announcement of the EU-Australia MoU on Critical and Strategic Minerals, and the EU’s Critical Raw Materials Act, there are a couple of items where Team Finland wishes to invite the Finnish companies’ input. The Team Finland network is organizing a business delegation visit to Sydney, Australia on 28-31 October 2024 led by Mr. Arto Haapea, the Ambassador of Finland to Australia and New Zealand Aotearoa.

Practicalities

To cover the expenses of arranging the visit to Australia during 28 - 31 October 2024, Business Finland will charge a participation fee.

  • Micro businesses and SMEs: EUR 2550 + VAT per person
  • Major companies: EUR 3000 + VAT per person

Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the participant nor meals outside the business delegation program.

As part of the delegation program, note that Business Finland will register the participating companies as a group (one company representative per company and max. 7 companies) to IMARC, and each business delegate will obtain a delegate pass to the event. The fee for the delegate pass for additional company representatives is 3245 AUD (15% discount, and the code will be provided upon registration). Note that the exhibition pass for IMARC is free of charge
