Mr. Wille Rydman, Minister of Economic Affairs, will make a visit to China on 25-28 June 2024. For Finland, China is the biggest trading partner in Asia. There are approximately 250 subsidiaries of Finnish companies operating in China. Their annual turnover is close to 15 billion euros.
Minister Rydman will meet with representatives of Chinese ministries and other authorities responsible for economic and trade issues in Beijing (25-26 June) and Shanghai (28 June). He will also have meetings with Finnish companies.
Finnish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment is launching a call for action to Finnish Companies in preparation of the Minister’s meetings with the Chinese authorities. We are interested in hearing about the business opportunities and challenges, as well as the overall business environment in different sectors in China.
Please note that a business delegation is not organized to the Beijing and Shanghai parts of the program.
