Business Finland’s Low carbon built environment program and the Embassy of Finland in Prague are organizing a prefabrication focused trade mission to Bratislava, Slovakia 13-14 June 2024. The purpose of this trade mission is to identify business collaboration opportunities for Finnish companies and get direct contacts in the Slovak market.
During this two-day trade mission, Business Finland and the Embassy of Finland will organize tailored B2B meetings as well as networking events with local stakeholders.
In the Slovak commercial real estate market, the pressure to align with the ESG concept is increasing. New sustainability obligations will affect not only large companies, but also their suppliers – small and medium-sized companies. Typical energy savings solutions like insulation of the facades, heat pumps, and low energy lighting have been supported by state grants for several years.
The leading development companies are searching for partners or suppliers of sustainable solutions on the international markets, and they are looking for the best ones. Moreover, the Slovak RE developers are active internationally and therefore they can be partners on international markets and not only in Slovakia.
The visit is aimed for Finnish companies that have export solutions for low carbon built environment and want to pursue Slovakia as a strategic market or partner. The participating companies should have products/solutions/services for:

To cover the expenses of arranging the business delegation program, Business Finland will charge a participation fee.
Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the participant nor meals outside the business delegation program.
