France, the second largest healthcare market in the EU, has made rapid progress in digitalization of healthcare in recent years, supported by large-scale national investment plans.
This has resulted in a great demand for digital solutions across all healthcare sectors. Recent initiatives, including reimbursement of remote monitoring and early access to reimbursement for innovative digital medical devices, strengthen France’s position as a leading market for digital health.
France is the 5th largest health tech export market for Finland and further business opportunities exists. French healthcare service providers are adopting technologies that support patient pathways as well as clinicians and other health professionals. Demand is also growing for innovative solutions for telehealth, diagnostics and prevention. AI based tools and solutions are being tested and implemented in all areas of healthcare.
Join Team Finland visit focusing on digital health to Paris on 12-13 June 2025. The visit is led by a high level official from Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. The visit is an excellent opportunity to familiarize with the French healthcare system and status of digitalization, gain insights on the market, demand and business opportunities, and explore French market entry. Finnish companies will be able to meet and discuss with potential customers, partners and decision-makers, and grow their network.
The visit is organized in conjunction with HIMSS Europe, taking place 10-12 June in Paris and delegates can participate individually in the conference, if they wish so, with the possibility of 10% discount on the ticket price (kindly contact Henriikka Yliheljo for further information, and please note that HIMSS early bird rates run until 19 March 2025). Vivatechnology, a major tech and startup event, will also be held the same week in Paris, 11-14 June, and can be visited individually.
This visit is tailored for Finnish digital health solution and medical device providers who already have business in France or are interested in the French market and are looking to gain insights on the local healthcare system and market, develop their network and start or develop their business in France.
To cover the expenses of arranging the visit to France, Business Finland will charge a participation fee.
Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the participant nor meals outside the business delegation program.
