We invite you to join a trade mission to Minnesota, the leading healthcare technology hub in the United States, from 27-29 April, with option to extend to 30 April. This is a unique opportunity for Finnish digital health and medical device companies to explore the market potential, network with key stakeholders, and learn from the best practices of the Minnesota health ecosystem.
The trade mission is organized by Team Finland, in collaboration with the Minnesota Trade Office, the Honorary Consul of Minnesota, and other local partners. The program will be tailored to the needs and interests of the participating companies, and can include visits to:
- Mayo Clinic, the world-renowned hospital and research center
- Destination Medical Center, the largest public-private economic initiative in Minnesota history, focused on health innovation and wellness
- Medical Alley, the #1 health technology cluster in the world, home to more than 1,000 healthcare companies and organizations
- Other major players active in new innovative healthcare delivery, such as UnitedHealth, Medtronic, Boston Scientific, and 3M
Minnesota is the second largest center of Finnish origin in the U.S., and many Finnish companies already operate in Minnesota. By joining this trade mission, you will benefit from the strong ties between Finland and Minnesota, and gain access to valuable contacts and insights that can help you succeed in the U.S. market.
Who should join the visit?
Finnish companies and R&D organizations interested in understanding the US healthcare sector, its main actors, trends and how to enter the market and form partnerships successfully.
The visit program will be built to reflect the participant companies’ profiles focusing on digital health and medical devices, other sub-focus such as gene- and cell therapy can be considered based on the participating companies.
Participation fee
The participation fee is
- Major companies: 2150 EUR + VAT per person.
- Minor and SME’s: 1830 EUR + VAT per person.
The participation fee covers the program costs, local transportation, and some meals. Travel and accommodation costs are not included. The number of participants is limited, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible.
