World-class diagnostic innovations from Finland

The current pandemic has put the importance of medical diagnostics into spotlight. Finland has very strong capabilities in research, development & production of in-vitro and in-vivo diagnostics, as well as clinical research. In 2020 exports of in-vitro diagnostics increased by over 27% bringing segment’s exports to 830M€ (Healthtech Finland, 2021).

In response to the growing need for innovation and to highlight the Finnish expertise in this field, Business Finland has compiled a new digital booklet showcasing cutting edge Finnish solutions within diagnostics. Finland is a small giant in the field of diagnostics and the diagnostics industry is one of Finland's strengths in health technology.
