Nordic Project Announces Appointment of Chairman and Vice Chairman for EXPO 2025 OSAKA

The Nordic Pavilion's nickname is "The Barn"

The Nordic Expo 2025 Osaka project is delighted to announce the appointment of Magnus Schöldtz, former ambassador and advisor at the Wallenberg Office as Chairman and Idar Kreutzer as Vice Chairman from Sweden and Norway. This dynamic leadership team brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Pavilion at Expo 2025. All Nordic countries have representatives in the leadership team.

Magnus Schöldtz, former Ambassador and Advisor at the Wallenberg Office, will lead the Nordic Pavilion's leadership board as Chairman. With extensive experience in diplomacy and business development, he has played key roles in fostering international relations and promoting economic growth across various sectors. The Wallenberg Office has investments or ownership in companies well known in Finland such as ABB, Stora Enso, and Wärtsilä.
His proven track record of fostering collaboration and driving innovation makes him poised to guide the Nordic pavilion to new heights at EXPO 2025 Osaka.

"I am honored to assume the role of Chairman for the Nordic Pavilion at EXPO 2025 Osaka," says Magnus Schöldtz. "This platform provides us with a unique opportunity to showcase the Nordic region's innovative spirit and commitment to sustainability."

Idar Kreutzer, appointed as Vice Chairman, brings a wealth of leadership experience and a deep understanding of global collaboration to the project. With a background in economics and finance, he is currently working at the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO).

All Nordic countries have representatives in the leadership team. Finland is represented by Johanna Jäkälä, Director of Finland Promotion Services at Business Finland, and Nita Pilkama, Commissioner General for Finland at Osaka 2025. The Nordic project is led by Chief Project Director Lena Abrahamsson.
