Evaluation of shipbuilding innovation aid 5/2023

Innovation aid for shipbuilding is a government subsidy aimed at securing and enabling innovations in shipbuilding. The aim of the aid is to create innovations through ship project development projects that are new or better than the current state of the art.

According to evaluation, shipbuilding innovation aid has supported Finnish shipbuilding companies to effectively navigate risks, foster innovations, and strengthened competitiveness. Funded projects drive shipyard innovation, enhance competitiveness, reduce emissions, and improve production efficiency.
