The goal of the Data Economy program is to encourage Finnish companies to develop international business based on the utilization and sharing of data. The program will continue until the end of 2027 and its goal is to accelerate challenging development projects related to the data economy with up to 135 million euros.
The Data Economy program is an important part of the Digital Native Finland mission. The program will help Finland to evolve into a globally attractive data-based business environment and provide growth opportunities for Finnish companies.
The Data Economy program is aimed at Finnish companies of all sizes, but especially at SMEs, who aim for significant renewal of their international business capabilities. The goal of the program is to get Finnish companies to understand the added value and importance of data sharing, initiate change within companies, build global data economy ecosystems in Finland, and accelerate new exports created with the help of data economy solutions.
