EUREKA is a pan-European R&D funding network, through which Business Finland and its colleagues in other countries promote innovative business partnerships. GlobalStars is EUREKA's brand for joint funding calls with countries outside of Europe. The countries involved in the GlobalStars India call are India, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium (Flanders), France, Sweden, Finland and Switzerland. All project consortia must include at least one Indian partner and one or more partners from the other participating countries.
Project consortia may apply for funding within the scope of this Globalstars call until 30.11.2020. Each of the partners involved in a consortium should fill in their own section of the EUREKA Project Form, which should then be submitted by the leader of the consortium. The whole application is evaluated in a panel with members from the funding organisations from the participating countries. The common international evaluation criteria are based on the technology, business potential and competitive advantage exhibited in the application. The national criteria for funding of Finnish participants follow the criteria for Business Finland research and development funding.

2. Get to know the more detailed information (timeline, goals, process and all national guidelines). The deadline for the shared Eureka application is 30.11.2020. After the international evaluation, the Finnish applicants need to apply for funding through Business Finland's application portal, based on a separate request (estimated timing January 2021)

3. Participate in building an international project consortium. You may take advantage of the networking service of this call. The Finnish participation may comprise minimum one (for profit) company, but also broader consortia are welcome. If universities or research organisations participate in the consortium, Business Finland's criteria for Co-Innovation Projects apply.
