Globalstars is a funding program of Eureka, which organizes project calls with countries outside the Eureka network.
Aim of the Call
The call is open to international research and development projects. Examples of the call’s areas include quantum technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, semiconductors, electronics, energy and environment, biotechnology, new materials, medical devices, aerospace, mining, and other industrial technologies.
The call excludes technologies related to nuclear power and drug development.
Consortium
The project consortium must include a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) located in Japan, as well as at least one other organization/company from one of the Eureka countries mentioned in this call (United Kingdom, Austria, Canada, Finland, France, the Netherlands, or Singapore).
Please contact your Business Finland contact person before submitting your application. In addition to the international call criteria, the applicant organizations and projects must meet the funding criteria of Business Finland, as outlined in the funding terms and on our website.
Schedule
- You can submit your Eureka R&D project application for the call between 9.9.-4.12.2024.
- Projects can start 1.6.2025.
- Finnish participants in the projects will submit a separate application to Business Finland.
- Application form: Research, Development, and Pilot Funding Service for Companies, Co-Innovation for Research Organizations.
