Team Finland is organizing a business delegation visit to Los Angeles in November 2024. During this webinar you can hear about the delegation program and opportunities in the market for green mobility and smart city services as Los Angeles is preparing to host the 2028 Olympic games.
Los Angeles will host the 2028 games (LA28), currently with a budget of nearly $7billion. As part of the games, LA is investing in infrastructure and services that will benefit the area for the games, but also after the games. LA has ambitious goals including ‘carless’ and ‘zero waste’ games. The games are a key happening that is driving fundamental changes in many areas, including the rapid expansion and electrification of public transit, and improvements in people flow around sporting venues (smart city services).
The webinar will cover following topics:
The delegation program in LA in November will consist of roundtable meetings with key stakeholders both in the private and public sector, with the goal of gaining local market insight on upcoming infrastructure investments in LA – specifically related to LA28 in mobility/transit and smart data services at large sporting venues.
The delegation will also visit a new mobility conference CoMotion and get an opportunity to connect with LA buyers at an invite-only networking reception.
