Join us for a dynamic Networking Event and Workshop organized by Business Finland, tailored for Finnish exporting companies interested in the exciting Scottish offshore wind projects, known as ScotWind, on 7 May, 2024.

ScotWind presents an unparalleled opportunity with 20 projects totaling 30GW and an initial investment exceeding £50 billion in Scotland, making it the world's largest offshore wind project portfolio. This initiative promises long-term prospects as projects progress through various stages and drive advancements in offshore wind technology.

Beyond wind farm development, Scotland's ports, along with those across the UK, will require upgrades to accommodate the influx of equipment. Additionally, there's a significant focus on reengineering energy networks to meet decarbonization goals, with innovations such as energy storage, hydrogen, and biofuels playing a pivotal role.

Business Finland invites you to explore how your offerings can enhance the Scottish and global value chains. Let's discuss potential collaborations between Finnish and Scottish enterprises, targeting opportunities not only in Scotland and the UK but also in the broader global offshore wind and renewable energy markets.
