The Team Finland network is organizing a Business Delegation visit to Kenya led by Minister for Foreign Trade and Development, Mr. Ville Tavio on 13-14 June 2024.
Kenya is acknowledged as East Africa's primary trading hub with the region's most advanced economy. Its growth is driven by a dynamic business environment, diverse trade opportunities, and well-established infrastructure. Kenya's economic growth prospects are promising, supported by the emergence of an urban middle class and its growing demand for high-quality goods and services. The young and tech-savvy population can readily adopt new solutions.
The visit is aimed for Finnish HealthTech and MedTech providers focusing on telemedicine, preventive healthcare, diagnosis and AI, and new software and digital solutions in e.g., hospitals, maternal and pediatric care, private practices, medical laboratories, and pharmacies.
There is a demand in Kenya for Healthcare solutions to diagnose and treat non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and for maternal and pediatric care. This is an opportunity for Finnish companies to exhibit their knowhow to Kenyan companies interested in Finnish solutions in the fields of HealthTech and MedTech.
Participating companies have the possibility to meet with authorities and relevant public and private sector project owners. This will take place in planned B2B meetings and meetings with relevant authorities.
To cover the expenses of arranging the business delegation program, Business Finland will charge a participation fee.
Business Finland will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee will not exceed the amounts mentioned above. Kindly note that the participation fee does not include flights or accommodation of the delegate nor meals outside the delegation program.
