Global growth from data – the Data Economy program launched

Business Finland has launched the Data Economy program, which encourages especially Finnish SMEs to develop international business based on the utilization and sharing of data.

The program will continue until the end of 2027 and its goal is to accelerate challenging development projects related to the data economy with up to 135 million euros.

The Data Economy program is aimed at Finnish companies of all sizes, but especially at SMEs, who aim for significant renewal in their international business capabilities. The goal of the program is to get Finnish companies to understand the added value and importance of data sharing, initiate change within companies, build global data economy ecosystems in Finland, and accelerate new exports created with the help of data economy solutions.

"The data economy offers Finnish companies an attractive opportunity to develop their business and gain significant added value from data-based decision-making. We dare to claim that those companies and their networks that use data sharing will replace the companies that do not do this. The Data Economy program is featured on Mar 27th at the free-of-charge Digital Native Finland and the Green Transition event in Tampere. We will tell you more about the data economy, its benefits and the program's services. Register now", says Business Finland's Kari Klossner.
