The AI-SIM project, funded by Business Finland, aims to deliver tangible value to businesses by developing solutions for managing business networks and supplier relationships, as well as intelligent supplier information management.
The duration for the AI-SIM (AI-Driven Renewal of Business and Supplier Information Management) project is from January 2024 to June 2026. The total funding for the project consortium is approximately 2.7 million euros, with Business Finland's Co-Innovation funding contributing about 1.5 million euros. The project consortium is built upon an intensive collaboration between Tampere University (Industrial Engineering and Management), Turku University (TurkuNLP research group) and three companies AGCO Power, Sievo and Integrata. Also a wider network of companies is involved to support research and to provide case contexts for testing during the project.
"Data economy is a critical part of modern global business. Utilizing and sharing data can take a company's competitiveness to a whole new level. AI-SIM is a great example of a wide and challenging joint project that aims to renew the Finnish economy. Our Data Economy program is keen to accelerate such projects and bringing the Finnish data economy know-how to international attention", says Business Finland's Kari Klossner, Head of Data Economy program.
